Weight based products

Acendy POS supports 3 ways of handling weight based products and two types of weight based products. See more below.

Installing "Product weight"

Follow the steps:

1. Navigrate to the Control panel main menu, click "Extentions", then "Your extentions".
2. Filter on the "pos" option, find the "Product weight" app and click "install".

After completing the installation, your store have unlocked an new product-tag.
You can now activate the tag on all the products you wish to be weight based.

Using "Product weight"

Manual weight.

You select the product and provide the number in grams, the app sorts the rest.
Note: With use of this method, the grams will equal stock on the product

Thirdparty Wifi/Bluetooth scale.

You select the product and weights the products. The number will appear on the screen.
Note: With use of this method, the grams will equal stock on the product

Weight based EAN codes.

Product ean combined with manual pricing.
The app is setup to follow the EAN-13 standard weightcodes and we support 3 prefixes: 20, 21, 22.
The following illustrates a sample weight code: 2012312301209 - Prefix: 20 - EAN: 123123 - Price (120,-): 0120 - Check Digit: 9
