Product Box Designer: Block — Title
Block — Title
Title displays the product name on the card and links to the product page. Along with the image, this is what the customer uses to recognize the product.
What the block does
The block displays the product's name. You control the font, color, and how many lines the title can use before it is truncated. The title reserves a fixed height based on the line limit, so that cards with short and long names have the same height and align neatly next to each other.
Settings
Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
Font options | Font size, weight, style, and line height for the title. |
Text color | Color of the title text. |
Background color | Background behind the title. Transparent by default. |
Show long title | Uses the product's full title. When off, a short title is displayed if the product has one. |
Title Line Clamp | Max number of lines before the text is truncated with «…» (1–5, or no limit). Default is 2 lines. |
Column width | How wide the block is in the row, out of 8 columns. See [How to combine blocks and sections]. |
Inner padding | Spacing inside the block. |
Outer padding | Spacing around the block. |
How to use it
- Set the line limit to for most stores. This keeps the cards the same height and prevents long names from pushing the price down.If you have short, uniform product names, you can set it to
- for a more compact card.Choose no limit
- only if you actually want to display the full name regardless of length — this can result in uneven card heights.
Tips
- "Show long title" is useful when you have entered both a short display title and a longer full name for the products. If you only have one name, the setting does not matter.
- If you want the title and article number on the same row, set the column width lower for both (for example 6 + 2) and place them in the same section.
