# Uploading images for variants

This article explains how you can link different product images to different variants, so that customers get a correct image of the selected product variant.

## How to enable image upload for variants

If you sell a sweater in multiple colors, you can add one image per color. When the customer selects *«Red»*, the image of the red sweater is displayed automatically!

1.  Go to the desired product and navigate to the tab **Variants**
2.  Click on **Add an image**
3.  Select a variant to which the image should be linked *(e.g., Color)*
4.  Click on **Enable image upload**

## How to upload images for variants

1.  Once you have enabled image upload for the desired variant, a **📸 camera icon** appears next to each variant
2.  Click the icon to upload an image
3.  Click **Save changes**

The main image on the product page will change when the customer selects a variant.
