# Available extensions

## Available extensions

Many extensions can be installed and managed by yourself from the control panel. All of this is now on one page, called **Modules**

The page was previously called "Your extensions" and was located under the Extensions menu. Old links and bookmarks will automatically redirect you to the new page.

## Where to find the page

Go to **Settings → Modules**

*You can also use the old path, Extensions* → Your extensions, it will redirect you to the correct location.

## How to read the list

All apps are in the same list — both those you have installed and those you can install. A badge at the top of each card indicates the app's status:

| Badge | Means |
| --- | --- |
| Installed | The app is installed and enabled. The function is running in the store. |
| Installed · paused | The app is installed but disabled. Your settings are preserved, but the function does nothing. The card has a dashed border. |
| Not installed | The app is available but never installed in your store. |
| Update available | The app has received new settings that your store has not yet received. See "Update available" further down. |

Each card shows the app's name, its category, a short description, and the app's code — the short technical ID, which is useful for searching. If the app has links to documentation or a vendor, they are located at the bottom of the card.

## Navigate the list

The list is long — a typical store has around 70 apps in it. The filters at the top do the job.

- **Search apps** — searches names, descriptions, and codes. Matches instantly as you type.
- **Categories** — click a category to show only that one. You can select multiple. Only categories your store actually has apps in are shown: Accounting, Store, Shipping and Logistics, Marketing, Orders, POS, Products, and Sales.
- **Updates available** — only shown when you have apps awaiting an update.
- **Only installed** — hides everything you haven't installed.
- **Clear** — resets all filters.

Below the filters is a counter line: how many cards are shown out of the total, and of these, how many are active, how many are installed but paused, and how many have an update. The numbers apply to the cards you see now, not the entire store — if you filter by one category, they only count that one.

> **💡 Filters are in the address**
> The search and filter selections are added to the web address. This allows you to bookmark or share a pre-filtered list, for example, all shipping apps you have installed.

## Installing an app

Click **Install** on the card. The app is installed immediately, and the card changes to Installed.

Some apps require a specific design template, a specific webshop package, or that another app is installed first. If there's an obstacle, it will appear as a yellow message on the card:

| Message | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| The app is not included in your plan | The Install button is locked. Contact us to upgrade. |
| The app is not supported by your store template | You can install it, but it will not function correctly with the template you are currently using. |

If the app costs money, the price is shown on the card — one-time fee and any monthly price. The app is installed as soon as you click, and we will contact you regarding the practicalities of invoicing. So you won't be left waiting for us to get started.

## Turn an app on and off

Installed apps have a switch at the bottom left of the card. **Active**, means the function is running. **Paused**, means the app is still installed with its settings, but is not doing anything.

Pause is useful when you want to turn off a feature for a period without losing your setup.

Some apps have no switch. They are then controlled by whether they are installed or not, and you remove them if you want to turn them off.

## Change settings

Click the gear icon on the card to open the settings. Which fields you get varies from app to app — some have none at all.

Three things you may encounter in the form:

- **Language button under a field** — the app supports this value being different per language in the store. Click **Language** to enter a separate value per language. If the store only has one language, there is nothing to translate.
- **Fields you cannot change** — the setting has expired and is no longer in use. It is displayed because the old value may be worth seeing.
- **Fields that can only be edited as raw value** — a few settings have a separate selector on the old settings page. Here you enter the value directly. The field itself indicates when this is the case.

Remember to save. If the app is not installed, nothing will be saved — install it first.

## Update available

When we extend an app with new settings, stores that already have the app do not get them automatically. The card will then be marked **Update available**, and you will get an **Update**\-button. Hover over the mark to see which settings it applies to.

Click **Update**. The new settings are added with their default values, and everything you have set yourself remains untouched.

> **⚠️ Use Update, do not reinstall**
> Do not remove and reinstall the app to get new settings. You will lose your setup. The Update button is designed for this very purpose and leaves your settings untouched.

If you see the mark at the top of the page instead of on a card, it is a summary: it tells you how many apps are waiting for an update. Use the filter **Updates available** to find them.

## Remove an app

Click the trash can icon on the card and confirm.

> **⚠️ Removal deletes settings**
> When you remove an app, your settings for it disappear. If you install it again later, you will start from the default setup. If you only want to turn off the function for a period, use the switch and set the app to paused instead.

## Tips

- If you can't find an app you know exists, check if a filter is active. If the list is empty, there is a **Clear**\-button in the message.
- The search field also matches the app's code, so if you have received a code from us in a support case, you can paste it directly.
- Apps that do not allow the store to install them themselves are not shown in your list. If you need one of them, please contact us.
