# Content builder: Edit, preview and save

## Content Builder: Edit, preview, and save

This article shows how to work with blocks on a page: moving, copying, previewing, saving, and building the page in multiple languages.

## Edit the blocks

Each block has a toolbar with these options:

| Option | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Drag to move | Moves the block to where you drop it |
| Move up and Move down | Moves the block one step |
| Duplicate | Creates a copy directly below |
| Copy | Copies the block so you can paste it somewhere else |
| Cut | Cuts the block so you can paste it somewhere else. The block remains until you paste it |
| Paste | Appears in the **fields once you have copied or cut something**Delete |
| Removes the block |  |

A block can only be copied, cut, or duplicated if the page allows that type. You cannot paste columns inside columns.

> **⚠️ You cannot undo regular changes**  
> There is no undo button for regular changes you make manually. If you deleted a block by mistake, you can retrieve it by leaving the page without saving. You can undo AI changes until you save, see Content Builder: AI in the builder.

## Desktop, mobile, and preview

At the top of the content builder, you choose:

-   **Desktop** or **Mobile**, to see how the page looks on each device.
-   **Edit** or **Preview**. The preview shows the page with title and blocks, and links do not work there.

## Save

You save using the regular save button on the page. The content builder converts the blocks into the page's content when you save. If you have unsaved changes, it will say **You have unsaved changes.**

Nothing changes in the store until you have saved.

## Pages in multiple languages

Each language has its own blocks. If the store has multiple languages, and another language has content, the button is displayed **Copy from language**

**1.** Open the page in the language you want to build.

**2.** Click **Copy from language** and select the language you want to copy from.

**3.** Select **Copy blocks**, or turn on **Translate with AI** and select **Copy and translate**

**4.** Review the result and save.

The copying replaces the blocks on the page. You can undo it until you save. The AI translation preserves layout, links, and colors, and is counted as one AI design. You must have turned on the AI features first.

If the language you are copying from has not been moved to the content builder, you must move it first.

## Blog posts

The content builder also works for blog posts. In addition, you get the block **Read more**, which marks where the introduction ends. The AI assistant for blog posts shown in the classic editor is not available in the content builder. Use the AI button in the content builder instead.
