# Campaign Center v3 — Timeline view

The timeline plots all your campaigns as horizontal bars across a date grid. Use it to see what's running when, spot scheduling gaps, and plan around existing promotions. Access it via Timeline in the left sidebar.

### View modes

Three modes control the time window and column density:

| Mode | What you see | Best for |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Week** | 14 days, one column per day | Short-term planning and exact activation dates |
| **Month** | ~3 months, one column per week | Mid-term overview of upcoming campaigns |
| **Year** | Full calendar year, one column per month | Annual planning and seasonal campaigns |

Switch between modes using the **Week / Month / Year** tabs in the toolbar.

### Navigating

Use the **← / →** arrows to move forward or backward by one time step. Click **Today** to return to the current date.

### Zoom

The zoom controls (**− / ×N / +**) in the toolbar adjust column width. Zoom ranges from **1× to 5×** — at 1× columns are compact; at 5× they're wide enough to read campaign names and dates comfortably without horizontal scrolling.

Use zoom when bars overlap visually or campaign names are truncated. The zoom level is saved in the URL, so sharing a link preserves it for the recipient.

### Reading the bars

Each campaign occupies its own row. The bar color indicates its current state:

| Color | Status |
| --- | --- |
| Green | Active |
| Blue | Scheduled |
| Amber | Archived |
| Grey | Draft |

A bar with no rounded left edge and a chevron (‹) means the campaign started before the current view window — navigate back to see its start date.

The left panel shows each campaign's name, status badge, and duration in days (when both a start and end date are set). Clicking the name or bar opens the campaign detail page.

### Conflict indicators

A red triangle on a bar means at least one product in that campaign also appears in another active or scheduled campaign. Hover over the icon to see which campaigns are in conflict. ### Searching

The search bar in the timeline toolbar filters campaigns by name. The grid updates as you type.
